Neighbourhood Plan

Update On Survey

The Alsager Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group is drawing together a policy document based on the results of last year’s Household Survey and the investigations of various Working Groups,

‘The Household Survey identified the key priorities that residents have for the town,’ said Christine Marsh. ‘The top four issues that people were concerned about are:

The attractiveness of Alsager as a place to live and work
Parks and green spaces
A family friendly environment
The high quality of local schools
The Household Survey has also revealed some very positive comments about the town’s railway station alongside concerns about parking, traffic volumes and the scale of building development. There have been plenty of practical suggestions about issues as varied as cycling conditions to hedgerow and wildlife protection. All these concerns will be reflected in the policy document currently in preparation.’
